Originally called Contrology (mind controls the muscles), what we now call The Pilates Method of Body Conditioning was developed by Joseph Pilates nearly a century ago and incorporates specially designed floor exercises called matwork for a full-body workout. 

This method focuses on the core postural muscles that help keep the body balanced and are essential to providing support for the spine.  In particular, these exercises strengthen the powerhouse muscles – the abdominals, the lower back and the gluteals – as well as improve flexibility, posture, balance, alignment, breathing and control.

Mat classes are offered in Beginning, Beginning II, and Intermediate levels. 

In order to ensure that you have a more personalized and rewarding experience, we limit our class size to six (6) people.

Fee: $25 per class or $200 for 10 classes ($20/class)

No membership or initiation fees.
