Fitness Professionals
Looking for experienced fitness professionals for recently remodeled Lifestyle Center (fitness and health facility) in Annapolis. We’ve recently undergone an expansion (our third in 12 years) and are looking for energetic, holistic-minded independent contractors who are willing to be a part of a team. Our clientele are mostly baby boomers.
The services we currently offer are personal fitness training, nutritional consulting, lifestyle coaching, Weight Loss for Life (weight and health management program), Pilates, Yoga, tai chi, massage therapy, far-infrared sauna, and professional grade nutritional supplements. We plan to add boot camps and other group exercise classes, and corporate programs. The Lifestyle Center is equipped with the following:
- Exclusive personal training studio equipped with Free Motion, Cybex, Paramount, Life Fitness, and more;
- Large group fitness room, ideal for yoga, pilates, mat, tai chi, stability ball, and other classes and group activities.
- State-of-the-art Pilates studio, equipped with Peak Pilates reformers and more;
- Wellness shop where we offer high-end nutritional supplements;
- Furnished office space for trainers and instructors.
- Shower facilities
- Far-Infrared Sauna
The ideal candidates must have at least 3 years experience working with clients one-on-one and/or in groups. Prefer professionals who want to work at least 10 or more hours per week.
Tremendous growth opportunities are available, including profit sharing.
Currently looking for personal trainers, yoga instructors, tai chi instructors, and other group exercise instructors.
For personal trainers, one or more of the following certifications are preferred, but not required: ACE, NASM, RTS, CHEK Institute, CSCS, or ACSM.
Office Space
The Lifestyle Center of Annapolis currently has office space for rent to a holistic-minded health professional. This 9 ½’ X 12’ space is shared with a massage therapist and is therefore furnished with a massage table and small desk. This opportunity also provides an excellent referral base for health professionals. The available days of use are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The rent is $400/mo. and includes reception/waiting area; copier, fax, water cooler, utilities, restrooms, use of exercise equipment and far-infrared sauna, access to large group fitness/meeting room, and free parking; contribution for weekly cleaning is required; Administrative Assistant also available with shared payroll commitment.
